1 medium onion, cut into fine slices
10 – 12 slices uncooked bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
2 garlic cloves, minced or pressed
16 ounces penne
2 Tbsp. olive oil
10-ounce package frozen peas
¾ cup Mascarpone
¼ - ½ cup vegetable broth
Salt and pepper
2-4 tsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the noodles according to the package directions. Heat olive oil in large frying pan. Add onions and cook until just beginning to soften. Add bacon and garlic. Cook until bacon is crispy. Add peas, Mascarpone and broth. Cook a few minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Add cooked and drained noodles to the pan and mix with sauce. Sprinkle basil on top and serve immediately.
