1 stick of butter

poultry seasoning
12 pieces of cold, dry toast

Whole turkey – use bag of giblets, neck of turkey, cut off extra skin at neck and tail. 1 -onion, 4-potatoes, 1 stick of butter, salt and pepper, sage and poultry seasoning. 12 pieces of cold, dry toast and boil an extra bag of giblets if wanted to mix into pan.
Fill a 2-qt saucepan one-half full of water. Add bag of giblets, neck of turkey and extra skin to water. Cut up ½ of onion and 4 medium potatoes, add to water. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 1 and ½ hours. When giblets are done, (clean meat off the neck bones before putting through grinder) put everything through grinder. Dice other ½ of onion through grinder. Add everything together and put in a 9 x 13 cake pan. Crumble toast into pieces and stir in cake pain with meat. Moisten with juice from the saucepan. If not moist enough, heat up 1 cup water and add 1 stick of butter and add to cake pan. Season with salt and pepper, sage and poultry seasoning. Bake for 1 and ½ to 2 hours at 350 degrees F covered with foil. Check half way through baking time and add water if needed
