Bottom layer:
1 cup butter or margarine
2/3 cup brown sugar packed
21/2 cups flour

Top Layer:
4 eggs
11/2 cups brown sugar
3 tsp flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine melted
2 tsp vanilla
3 cups raisins
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Bottom layer: crumble ingredients together in a bowl. Press into ungreased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.

Top Layer: mix eggs and sugar together with spoon. Add the rest of the ingredients. Stir and spread over bottom layer. Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes or until light brown. Cool and Cut.
