1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups of flour
2 tsp. Baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Jam of your choice

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, add sugar and vanilla. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add dry ingredients a little at a time, blending well. Chill dough. Form into balls and make a indent in the center of each ball and place a tsp. of jam in each indent. Bake for 12-15 min at 350 degrees or until bottoms are golden.

We have used pretty much every jam or jelly imaginable in these cookies over the years...blueberry, raspberry, grape, apricot, rhubarb, strawberry... even made them with Nuttella. Store bought lemon spread was a hit too! Pretty versatile.
