Brine: Boil for 15 minutes
3 qts water
2 qts white vinegar
10 tbls pickling salt
1-2 tbls pickling spice (pick out cloves)
Adders to each jar:
2 cloves garlic
¼ - ½ tsp crushed red hot peppers
2 tsp dill weed

Brine: Boil for 15 minutes
3 qts water
2 qts white vinegar
10 tbls pickling salt
1-2 tbls pickling spice (pick out cloves)
Blanch asparagus for one minute, place in ice water and then drain on towels.

Pack jars with asparagus and add to each jar:
2 cloves garlic
¼ - ½ tsp crushed red hot peppers
2 tsp dill weed
Pour brine over and process. Wait at least two weeks before eating.
