1 pkg. dry yeast
l/2 c. warm water
2 l/2 c. biscuit mix
1 beaten egg
1 tbsp. sugar

Filling:
2 - 8 oz. cream cheese, soften
l/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla

Top with Raspberry or Strawberry jam

Directions:
Dissolve yeast in water. Add to biscuit mix. Add egg and sugar. Turn on lightly dusted surface. Kneed 20 strokes. Roll out into long rectangle. Every 1 1/2 inches down each side you will make a knife cut about 2" towards the center of rectangle. Place prepared filling in the middle of rectangle. Then fold cut pieces into middle making "x".


Cover and chill over night.

Bake 350º for 30 min. Top with Jam. YUMMY!
