In one bowl mix the following:
4 cups flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

In another bowl mix the following (until light and fluffy) -
2/3 cup shortening
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:

Mix the contents of both bowls in a mixer and alternate with 4 teaspoons of milk
Refrigerate dough until easy to handle (usually about 2 hours) or freezer for about 20-30 minutes
Cook in oven at 400 degrees for about 9 minutes or until a delicate brown
