Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb hamburger
1 egg
1 cup flour

Directions:
Directions:
Brown hamburger. At this point you can add onion, celery or spices as you choose. We just use the hamburger with salt and pepper to taste. Put in a 2 quart pan and fill half full of water. Bring to a boil. Take the egg and flour and mix with your fingers until it becomes crumbly. You may want to add a little more flour. Slowly drop crumbs into the boiling mixture and stir as you do. These crumbs become like small noodle pieces and if you don't drop it in slowly they will stick together. I always add beef bullion and salt and pepper to taste. As this boils it will slightly thicken and can be served over mashed potatoes if you like. This is the way Mom Grise fixed it but you can use chicken if you like.
