2 T. yeast
1/4 cup warm water
2 eggs
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4c cup evaporated milk
1 cup hot water
5-6 cups bread flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Beat eggs: add sugar and salt Add evaporated milk and hot water: beat well. Add yeast and beat: add enough flour to make a soft dough. Knead until thick: spread with butter. Fold over: roll out again and spread with butter. Repeat four or five times. Roll 1/2 inch thick and cut in strips 1 inch by 1/2 inch and put three or four in muffin tins standing up. Let rise until light and bake in 400º oven for 15 to 20 minutes until done and light brown.
