Mix ingredients together. Pour half into greased and floured tube pan (may use spay). Sprinkle with 1/2 of topping. Pour other half of cake into the tube pan and top with the remaining topping. Bake 1 hour at 350º. Turn tube pan upside down to remove cake from the pan. May serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip. Ice cream is quite good with this as well.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Beginning college as a non-traditional student, (older than those right out of high school), meant you looked for someone else a bit older. Margaret Stout was one of the dearest friends throughout college and in my teaching career in the Mishawaka Public Schools. We studied, graduated, and taught together for 11 years. Hopefully you will enjoy this recipe that was a sustainer as we drank coffee and "figured out homework!"
