48 chocolate kisses
½ c. shortening
¾ c. peanut butter
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. packed lite brown sgar
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 ½ c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375 degrees and Remove wrappers from kisses
2. Beat shortening and peanut butter; add 1/3 c. sugar and brown sugar beat until fluffy
3. Add egg, milk and vanilla beat well
4. Sir together flour, baking sod and gradually beat into peanut butter mixture
5. Shape dough into 1 inch ball and roll in sugar
6. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 8 to 10 mins.
7. Remove from oven and immediately press chocolate kiss into center of each cookie- remove from cookie sheet and let cool
