Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Emma Lou Gerber lived across the back yard from Isabella. Sharon and Connie would go to her house sometimes for popsicles and swing in her backyard. Mr. Gerber was the bank president and they had two daughters. Delores and her husband lived on the front street across from the bank. Verdene and her husband lived on the back street but in a newly built home. Isabella would sometimes help Emma Lou with ironing or other things like that. The Butterscotch Treats were often ready when we would go to their house. Isabelle used this recipe for her children and later for her grandchildren rather frequently.
