"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Ingredients:
1 pkg. of saltine crackers (they come 4 in a box, you need just one)
2 sticks of butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 bag of chocolate chips (Bakers milk chocolate not the semi-sweet - make sure the bag says milk chocolate.
1 pkg. of chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Use a cookie sheet and line it with foil. It works better to also spray the foil with Pam. Line up the crackers on the cookie sheet. In a sauce pan melt butter and add the brown sugar. Stir until it is well blended and bubbly. Pour the mixture over the crackers and put into the oven at 375º for 6-7minutes until it bubbles evenly. Take our of oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips over the crackers and as they melt, smooth down over the crackers.Sprinkle pecans over the top of the crackers. Put whole cookie sheet into the freezer for at least 15 min. Take out and break at random. You can put them in a plastic container and keep them in the freezer or refrigerator. I think that they taste just like a Heath Bar.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I have heard that it its best not to make them on a rainy or humid day.
If you make these and know the size of the bag of chocolate chips and nuts, please adjust the recipe.
