Melt: 2/3 c. Crisco
Add: 1 box brown sugar, mix well
Add: 3 eggs, beating after adding each one
Sift and add:
2 3/4 c. flour
2 1/2 tea. baking powder
1/2 tea. salt
Add: 1 c. nuts
1 6 - oz. pkg.chocolate chips
1 tea. vanilla

Bake in large cookie sheet (with sides) at 350º for 35 min.
