Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cups oats
1 cup flour
1 cup mini chocolate chips
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup wheat germ
3/4 tsp cinnamon
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 maple syrup
2 tsp vanilla
1 egg
** 1/4 cup ground flaxseed (optional)
** 1/4 cup protein powder (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 º.

Line a metal 9x13 pan with enough foil to hang over all sides. Spray foil with Pam.

In large bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix until all combined. With a wet or greased hand, pat mixture evenly into the pan.

Bake for 25 mins. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Lift foil out of the pan and set on cutting board. Cut into bar shaped pieces and wrap individually in plastic wrap. Keep refrigerated to keep them longer (but they don't last that long!)

Personal Notes:
I also add ground flax seed and sometimes protein powder since I have a picky eater who loves these, so whatever I can get past him, I will. If adding both options, increase either syrup or veg oil a smidge to keep it moist enough to coat everything.
