Peel and core a Vidalia onion. In core, put 1 beef bouillon, 1 pat of butter and 1 ice cube. Wrap in heavy duty foil.
After baking until onion is tender (approx. 1 hr.), open foil, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Return to oven and broil until cheese is melted. Great with steaks.

Bake in oven at 400º for an hour or until onion is tender.

You can slice the onions and place slices in a "flat" casserole dish, then place bullion cubes, butter and ice cubes over them. Cover with foil and bake.
