2 1/2 cups sifted flour
1 tbps sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup lard
1 egg, separated

Filling:
6 apples, sliced (5 cups)
1 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 cups sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, salt, sugar, cut in lard. Measure egg yolk, add milk to make ½ cup, add to flour, stir until dough shapes into ball. Divide in half, roll out, place on baking sheet, spread on ½ cup crushed corn flakes. Add filling. Top with other half crust. Seal and cook at 400°F for 30 minutes
