Ingredients:  
1 lb venison, cut into thin strips 1- 1 ½ “long. (lean beef for those so inclined)
1 medium yellow onion, cut up.
Soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce for marinade
½ lb. fresh sliced mushrooms
Fresh Garlic to taste
½ cup your favorite red wine
1 package McCormick Stroganoff seasoning.
8 oz sour cream
½ package extra wide egg noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Combine meat, onion, garlic, Soy and Worcestershire sauce, and ½ the wine in a bowl. Mix and marinade for at least 1 hour. Overnight in the fridge is good.

Add above to a large skillet. Use olive oil to prevent sticking. Cook on Med high, taking care not to over-cook the meat. (Med-rare is good)

Turn to low and add mushrooms, rest of wine, and McCormick seasoning. Cook down until mushrooms are done. Add sour cream (and more wine to taste if you want) Warm until sour cream is combined.

Serve over cooked egg noodles.
