One pint (packed violets without stems). Wash in water. Place violet blossoms in quart jar. Cover with boiling water. Place lid on jar & let stand for 24 hours. Strain and measure 2 cups liquid into sauce pan. Add the juice of one lemon. Add one package pectin (Sure Jell) and bring to boil; boil for one minute.

Pour into glasses and seal. Beautiful lavender color. Tastes like honey.
