3 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 C white corn syrup
1/2 C dark corn syrup
1 C. sugar
2 T. butter, melted
1 t. vanilla
1 1/2 C. pecan halves
1 unbaked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together all ingredients except pecans until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into pit shell. Bake in 350 degree oven 50-55 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.

Everyone loves my mother's pecan pie. You may use an extra step by cooking the complete pie mixture on the stove top, stirring constantly for 5 minutes before filling the pie shell. This way, the mixture cooks quicker and the pie crust does not brown too much around the rim.
