1 prepared (10") angle food cake
16 oz. cool whip
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup; drained with syrup reserved
1 c pineapple juice (if needed add water to reserved juice to equal 1 cup
1 c white sugar
1 (10oz.) pckg flaked coconut
2 (25oz.) pckg unflavored gelatin
4T cold water
1 c boiling water

Directions:
Soften gelatin in cold water.. Add boiling water, sugar, juice, . Mix well. Refrigerate until partly jelled, when it starts to thicken add pineapple and 4 cups of the cool whip

Break cake up into bite-sized pieces . Layer in 9x13 pan cake then jelled mixture alternating layers and finish with jelled mixture

Chill 12 hours or overnight. Frost with remaining cool whip and sprinkle with coconut,
