1 cup oleo or butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 tsp soda
1 tsp baking powder
2 cups quick cooking oats
2 cups corn flakes
2 cups unsifted flour
1 cup raisins
1 cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and both sugars well and add eggs, vanilla. Then add soda, baking powder to flour and slowly add to butter mixture. Stir in quick cooking oats, corn flakes, raisins, nuts. Adding a little milk,( 1 tbsp at a time) if mixture gets too stiff. Drop by teaspoon on lightly greased cookie sheet. Put in 350º oven for 15 to 20 mins.Makes plenty, about 125 cookies.

This cookie recipe gets a little stiff and hard to beat or stir. But worth the effort.
