3 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 nutmeg
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cup oil
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 Tbsp orange peel
1/4 cup orange juice
1 cup raisins
1 1/2 pounds granny smith apples (3 large)
1 c chopped nuts

Grease & flour tube pan
Preheat oven to 350º
1. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg.
2. In a separate bowl beat sugars, oil, eggs and vanilla.
3. Beat in dry ingredients.
4. Chop apples and stir in with orange peel, orange juice, raisins, and nuts and mix well.
5. Bake 1 hour.
6. Cool in pan 20 min.
7. Refrigerate. The cake will keep 1 week.
