1 envelope dry turkey noodle soup mix or chicken
1 – 3 ounce can of sliced mushrooms drained (reserve liquid)
2/3 cup of evaporated milk
1/3 cup butter or margarine
¼ cup chopped onion
1/3 cup all purpose flour
¼ teaspoon salt
Dash of pepper
2 cups diced cooked chicken
1 cup frozen peas
¼ cup chopped pimento

Directions:
Directions:
Combine soup mix and 1 ½ cups water; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes. Add mushroom liquid and milk.

In a large skillet, melt butter; add onion and cook till tender but not brown, blend in flour, salt and pepper. Add soup mixture; cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Add mushrooms, chicken, peas and pimento. Pour into 1 ½ quart casserole. Bake at 350f for 45 minutes.
