1/2 c. cooking oil
4 oz.. unsweetened chocolate,
melted and cooled
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, lightly beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. powdered sugar

Directions:

Melt chocolate and cool to room temperature. Sift together the flour, salt and baking powder. Mix together the oil, chocolate and sugar; mix well to blend ingredients. Blend in eggs, mixing well after each addition. Add vanilla. Stir in the dry ingredients. Place covered in refrigerator and chill for several hours or overnight. Preheat oven to 350°. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll in powdered sugar and place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
