5 slices bacon, cooked crisp & crumbled
1/3 c onion finely chopped
1/2 t cornstarch
1/4 c apple juice
2 T cider vinegar
1/2 to 1 t honey (according to taste)
salt and pepper
1 T olive oil or bacon grease
Directions:
Directions:
Cook onion until translucent in olive oil or bacon grease. Combine cornstarch, apple juice and cider vinegar until well mixed, add to skillet with onions and crumpled bacon and heat to boiling. While boiling stir until mixture thickens lightly. Stir in honey. Pour hot dressing over spinach. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
