1/2 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg yolk, well beaten
2 c. flour
2 t. vanilla
1 egg white
1 c. finely chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter and sugar, add egg yolk, flour and vanilla. Spread thin on greased cookie sheet. Brush with the egg white. Sprinkle with nuts and press in. Bake at 350º until light brown. Watch carefully.
