3 T. butter
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. sugar or sugar substitute
sprinkle of nutmeg on the top of filling

Directions:
Directions:
Brush pie shell with egg white (to prevent crust from being soggy.) Beat eggs slightly, add sugar and vanilla. Melt butter in milk in microwave. Do not boil milk. Add milk mixture to other ingredients. Strain mixture into pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 475° for 10 minutes. Then bake 10 more minutes at 375°.
