2 carrots, sliced 3 celery sticks, sliced
1/2 medium onion diced fine 1/2 (10oz) pkg. frozen peas
1 jar (8oz) cheese whiz 3 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. flour 3 quarts water
2 chicken bouillon cubes salt & pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook vegetables in a little water until tender. Melt cheese whiz in pan of hot water. Melt butter in large sauce pan, then slowly stir in flour, cooking and stirring till bubbly, remove from heat. Add all the water at once to butter and flour, stir to mix well so there are no lumps. Add bullion cubes and return pan to heat. Cook and stir till thickens and is smooth. Stir in warmed cheese whiz and add undrained vegetables. Season to taste. Add a couple drops of yellow food coloring to bring up color if desired.
