1 1/2 large pearl tapioca
Prunes, pear halves, peach halves, apricots
1 pound dark raisins
1 pound golden raisins
3 large fresh thickly sliced apples
1 jar maraschino cherries, undrained, cut in half
4 peeled oranges cut
2 cans of dark sweet cherries
1 cup fresh lemon juice

All fruit in a large Norwegian kettle, Add prunes, pear halves, peach halves, and apricots, dried bags will do, however if you have fresh, use them. Add two bottles of 100% grape juice to tapioca, break 6 pieces of cinnamon sticks and add water until fluid level can be seen through fruit. Cook at 225 for 9 hours. Add 1//2 cups of pure vanilla after cooled. This may be stored for the holidays.
optional red food coloring may be added.

My Grandmother Hazel Sorum Larsgaard has always had a "SOT SUPPE" for every holiday. I have found the more fruit, the better. This recipe is best served hot with whipped cream for any occasion.
