Cream together:
3/4 cup butter
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 unbeaten egg yolk (save egg white)
1/2 tsp vanilla

Add:
1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix well and chill dough. Take egg white that you saved and beat it in a small bowl. Pour chopped pecans in another small bowl. Roll dough into small balls. Dip one side of ball in egg whites, then in chopped pecans. Put on cookie sheet.
Bake in 375º oven for a total of 12-15 minutes, but just before done, take out cookie sheet, with a very small spoon, make a small 'hole' in the middle of the cookie but leave cookie on the bottom of the 'hole'. Return to oven for remaining time, take out and cool.
Melt 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips and spoon melted chocolate into 'hole' of cookie. Let set.
