4 qt. ripe tomatoes, peeled cored and chopped
1 1/2 c. sweet bell pepper chopped
2 c. chopped onions
1 to 1 1/2 c. vinegar
3/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. celery seed
1 tsp. of each- ground ginger, ground cinnamon, ground allspice, and ground cloves.

Combine all ingredients, bring to boil and simmer until sauce is as thick as you like. Usually 1 to 2 hours stirring frequently to prevent sticking or burning. Pour while hot into sterile jars leave 1/8" head room. Place caps on jars. Process 15 min. in boiling water bath.
