1 c. butter
1 c. molasses
1 c. sour milk or regular milk with 1 tsp. vinegar
1 c. sugar
4 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix and stir all ingredients; drop from tsp. Take fork and press each cookie. Sprinkle sugar on top (optional). Bake at 350º. Test after 10-12 minutes with toothpick. When toothpick is clean remove cookies. (See personal notes).

Nana Trafton's recipe: Nana did not have a temperature or time on her recipe card. The temperature and time is a wild guess. This was Garry's favorite cookie so I'm hoping, if you try them, they taste as good as Nana's.
