1 1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. pure almond extract
2/3 c. milk
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 stick melted margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Spray pan with Pam or Cooking Spray
Beat well: sugar, egg, almond extract, milk
Add: flour, baking powder
Add: melted margarine
Mix well
Bake at 350º for40-50min. Edges must be golden brown. Cool in pan before removing. Cake will break if removed too soon. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Before pouring batter into the pan, sprinkle sliced almonds on the bottom.

The Scandinavian cake pan was a gift from sister, Glorice and husband Ray. It can be bought at any Scandinavian shop or from Scandinavian catalog. Each slice is marked on the cake from the pan. Very moist and fun to make.Ya sure ya betcha!
