1 whole chicken
4 cups sliced carrots or amount to your liking
1 large onion chopped
28 ounce can crushed or whole tomatoes

6 eggs
4 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Bring Large pot of water to boil then add whole chicken that has been thoroughly washed to the pot. When boiling again add carrots and onions and tomatoes. Cook for 2 hours or until chicken is done. Remove chicken from pot and debone and remove skin and cut or tear into pieces. Add pasta to soup and cook until done. Add pieces of chicken to soup, salt and pepper to taste, cook until hot and enjoy.

Making the pasta
Make a well of flour using 4 cups of flour
Break 6 eggs into the well of the flour
Beat eggs by hand, working in the flour until you achieve a very stiff dough, add more flour if needed. Dough needs to be very, very stiff.
Let dough dry a little and then grate it with a cheese grater on the coarse side. Spread dough onto wax paper and let dry.
Add the pasta to the soup and cook until al dente.
