1 quart White Vinegar
3 quarts Water
1/2- 2/3 cup Canning Salt
2 Buttons (cloves) Garlic (finely diced)

Banana Peppers
Olive Oil

Directions:
Directions:
Place White Vinegar, Water, Canning Salt and Garlic in large pan. Bring to boil and simmer. Slice Banana Peppers down center and remove seeds. Stuff Peppers tightly in jars, as many as possible. (Use wide mouth jars)
Add 1 tsp. Olive Oil to each jar. Add hot Solution to jars and seal. Be sure lids and seals are hot. Makes 6 quarts. Cure for 60 days.

This recipe came from Bert Roberts. She was a cousin of Grandmas. Bert said she used sweet Banana Peppers for this recipe. Peppers can be made hotter by adding 1-2 hot peppers to each jar.
