2 1/4 C. sugar
1/2 C. water
1/4 t. salt
1/2 cups Karo white syrup
2 egg whites
1 1/2 t. vanilla
1/2 C. nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, water, syrup and salt in a 2 qt. casserole with loose cover. Microwave on high for 5-6 minutes. Remove cover and microwave on high another 8-10 minutes . (hard ball stage) Meanwhile
beat egg whites till stiff.
Pour syrup mixture slowly over egg whites while beating with mixer. Add vanilla and nuts and beat until able to drop by teaspoon.
