2 Egg Whites
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Dash of Salt
2/3 Cup Sugar
1 3-1/2 oz can Cow Flaked Coconut (or bag)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 325ºF

1. Grease cookie sheet

2. Beat egg whites, vanilla, and salt until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, heat until stiff peaks

3. Fold in coconut and prepare to serve out on cookie sheet by greasing the cookie sheets

4. Drop teaspoon sized ball of mixture about 1 and 1/2 inches apart on greased sheets.

5. Bake at 325ºF for about 20 minutes or until done - golden brown. Don't over cook

I found this recipe also in an old cookbook - I believe this to be my grandmother Viola Jost's recipe as it is in her handwritting. I have never made these goodies but will after typing this all in - they sound great!
