General Conference Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

1 9x13 pan (greased)
2 T dry yeast, dissolved in 1/2 C lukewarm water
7 C white flour
1 cube melted butter - Add 2 C milk, warm with butter
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1 T salt

Cinnamon Mixture
1/4 - 1/2 C melted butter
1 C white sugar
2 t cinnamon


Glaze:
1 lb powdered sugar, 1/3 soft butter, 1/2 cup
evaporated milk, 1 tsp vanilla. Mix with hand mixer
and spread on hot rolls, letting it drizzle down into
the crevices.

Put warm milk, butter, eggs and sugar into mixer. Mix
on low until sugar is dissolved. Add yeast mixture and salt.
Add 6 cups sifted flour and mix until well blended but
lumpy. Add more flour up, to 1 cup. Cover and let rise
in a warm place (not too warm) until mixture has
doubled. Mix down and let rise again. Mix down and
dump out onto a well floured board. Roll out into a
rectangle, about 24"x 8-10 ", using flour on the
rolling pin.

Pour melted butter generously all over the dough.
Sprinkle with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar (1 C
sugar, 2 t cinnamon). Roll up the dough the long way
and slice with a sharp knife. Cut rolls into 1"
slices and set into a well greased pan. Cover and let
rise until double.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Center should
be golden. Remove from oven and glaze.
