1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 well beaten eggs (may use 1/2 c. Egg Beater)
1 c. ground pecans
1 small (flat) can crushed pineapple
3 T. cream
1 lb. vanilla wafers
Cool Whip or whipped cream

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter & sugar, add eggs and stir in pecans, pineapple & cream.

Line a square pan with wafers (bottom & sides) and spread with filling. Add another layer of wafers and filling. Top with a layer of wafers.

Refrigerate for 12 to 24 hours. Cut in squares & top with Cool Whip or whipped cream. Serves 8

This recipe is at least 75 years old. My mother used to make it for special occasions and everyone loved it.
