12 slices firm white bread (I use french)
2 cups milk
6 eggs
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Pinch of salt
4 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon maple syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Spray baking dish and lay sliced bread in even stacks. Combine milk, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, & salt and evenly pour over bread. Press bread down and flip pieces to help absorption. Cover and refrigerate overnight. The next morning, preheat oven to 350. Set bread out while you combine butter, brown sugar & syrup. Spread over bread & bake for 1 hour until knife comes out clean.
