1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 medium onion chopped very fine
1 egg, beaten
1 cup plain bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1/2 8 oz. can tomato sauce

1/2 8 oz. can tomato sauce
2 T. vinegar
2 T. prepared mustard
1 cup water
1 T. brown sugar or molasses

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 7 ingredients. Shape into a loaf. Place in large loaf pan with room for sauce. Combine sauce ingredients. Pour over meat mixture. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350º. Baste with sauce occasionally.
