4 cups diced apples
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
2 cups flour,
1 tsp salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 well beaten eggs
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup walnuts(optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix apples with sugar and cinnamon. Let stand 1 hour then add soda. Meanwhile mix flour, salt. and baking powder. Add beaten eggs and oil. Fold in apple mixture and walnuts. Bake in 9X13 pan for 40 minutes for 350º.
Ice with fudge icing.
