Ingredients:
1 lb stew beef
4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
½ cup carrots, sliced
½ cup frozen peas
1 cup beef broth
1 ½ cups boiling water
1 medium onion, sliced
1 clove minced garlic

Salt and pepper to taste
Prepared 9” pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 450°. Saute the onion and garlic in vegetable oil over medium heat until the onion is light golden brown and remove to paper towels to drain, reserving the oil. Prepare meat by dragging it through the flour seasoned with paprika, salt and pepper. Brown meat in reserved oil; remove from pan and set aside.

Stir into pan the broth, water, red pepper, allspice, and season all. Add potatoes and carrots, cover and cook on low-medium heat for 15 minutes; return meat to pan and continue to cook until potatoes are softened, about 15-20 more minutes. Stir in frozen peas; then pour mixture into pie crust, spoon onion and garlic over meat and potato mixture. Finish by putting pie crust on the top and sealing the edges. Make small slits in the crust to allow the air to escape. Bake until the crust is a golden brown.
