1 box saltine crackers
1 1/4 c. canola oil
1 pkg. dry ranch dressing mix
2 T. crushed red pepper flakes
1 t. ground red pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Place saltines in an air-tight container big enough to hold all the saltines.In a separate bowl,combine oil, ranch dressing mix, red pepper flakes and red pepper. Pour mixture over saltines and put on air-tight lid. Gently toss container back and forth till saltines are coated well. Let sit for 1 hour, turning the container upside down every 15 minutes (4 times). Remove saltines from oil mixture and place in another air-tight container. Serve with Buffalo Chicken Dip.

I know, this sounds really weird, but these crackers are crisp and delicious and spicy. Better if made up to 24 hours before serving.
