3 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp salt
1 cup sugar or more
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup butter
2 cups oatmeal
2 cups buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Cut shortening and butter into the mixed dry ingredients. Add buttermilk and stir. Roll out with grooved rolling pin. Bake at 375-400ºF for 8-10 minutes. Flip once half way.
