1 15.5-oz can chickpeas
1 garlic clove
¼ cup tahini*
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
¼ cup water
¾ tsp salt
Pinch cayenne pepper
3 Tbsp fresh lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse the chickpeas; peel and mince garlic. Add all ingredients together into the food processor. Process until a paste like form or the desired consistency. Chill; then serve on bread, crackers or tortilla chips.

Note: Tahini is a smooth paste made from ground sesame seeds. It is used in middle-eastern recipes to add body and nutty flavor. The natural oils separate during storage, so stir before using.
