1/3 c water
1 T butter
2 oz unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped
1 c sugar
2 T light corn syrup
pinch of salt
1 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan over medium heat, bring the water and butter to a simmer and heat until the butter is melted. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the chocolate. Continue to stir until melted. Add the sugar, corn syrup, and salt; mix well. Return the pan to the heat and bring to a boil without stirring. Cover and cook for 3 minutes, then uncover and simmer for 2 minutes longer. Remove from the heat and cool for 5 minutes. Stir in the vanilla and serve warm.
