3 cups milk (leave set until warm)
1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs beaten
2 yeast cakes
1 cup raisins (soaked in hot water and drained
Flour enough to make sponge. (A little thicker than a cake batter)
3/4 cup shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour for sponge, a little thicker than a cake batter. Let set for 15 minutes. Then mix 3/4 cup shortening, and flour enough to make a stiff dough. Coffee cake shape into small round roll. Roll our just enough to fit in pans. Grease pans and tops of cakes. Let rise to double bulk. Just before baking sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake 15-20 minutes at 400º
