2 lb hamburger
1 lg can tomato sauce
1 c onion, finely chopped
1/2 c bell pepper, finely chopped
1/2 c fresh bread crumbs
2 eggs
1/2 c uncooked rice
1 T garlic powder
1 T chopped parsley
salt & pepper to taste
6 medium bell peppers

Directions:

Cut the tops off the bell peppers and hull them out. Mix 1/2 can of the tomato sauce with the remaining ingredients and stuff mixture into the peppers. Place the stuffed peppers in a sprayed shallow casserole dish. Pour the remaining 1/2 can of tomato sauce over the peppers, then pour a 1/2 can of water directly into the casserole dish. Bake covered at 375º for 40 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 20 minutes. Make sure rice is done.
